Tier 2 introduces stronger equipment families, including Emerald, Obsidian and infused equipment.
Infused Lava
Infused Lava armor provides Fire Resistance and Fire Extinguish.
Enhanced Materials
Enhanced Chainmail, Iron, Gold, Diamond and Netherite feed their corresponding enhanced equipment recipes.
Boss Materials
Guardian Scale, Wither Bone and Ender Dragon Scale connect the three legendary equipment branches with their boss-soul recipes.
Guardian, Super Star & Ender Dragon
Each legendary family crafts equipment bases before the corresponding boss soul is used in smithing. Armor, weapons and tools all belong to the same progression branch.

Super Star
Wither Bone, Nether Star and Wither Boss Soul progression.
Ender Dragon
Ender Dragon Scale, Dragon's Breath and Ender Dragon Soul progression.
Slayer Progression
Slayer equipment combines the infused crystal path with the three legendary branches.
Infused Frost Lava Crystal
Smith an Infused Lava Crystal with an Infused Frost Crystal.
The Ultimate Material
Crafted from the infused crystal and the three legendary branch materials.
Slayer Soul
Crafted from the Elder Guardian, Wither Boss and Ender Dragon souls.
Slayer Equipment
Slayer bases combine corresponding legendary equipment bases before final smithing with the Slayer Soul.
